What is Opportunity Notts?

Opportunity Notts is a award scheme for 21st century Nottingham, designed to give the city’s next generation the skills and confidence they need to succeed after school, be proud of where they’re from and make their city proud of them.

Opportunity Notts was created to encourage young people like you in Nottingham to try new things, challenge yourself and discover more about you, your community, your city and beyond.

There are 5 Opportunity Notts levels, with each designed to help achievement at school, gaining useful life skills and having fun. Opportunity Notts puts participants at the centre of the experience and joins up learning between school, home and outside of school groups by rewarding all of the activities done in these different environments. Working with the city’s sports clubs, museums, theatres and other venues, world of fun and fascinating activities in different areas (from sports to arts, outdoor adventure to volunteering) for you to tackle.

Opportunity Notts is free to young people in Nottingham. With lots of support from your mentor(s), you’ll find a whole bunch of activities to complete that we guarantee will make you see the world, other people and even yourself in a completely new way.
